RETABLO MAYOR, REREDOS AND LA VULNERATA


 
The High Altar Retalbo, assembled by Blas Martinez de Obregon in 1677, is adorned with the following statues and paintings:

  • Center: Our Lady Vulnerata Sevilla School (Sixteenth Century)

  • Left: St. Eduard King of England Francisco del Rincon, master of Gregorio Fernandez 1710's

  • Right: St. Thomas Beckett, Archbishop of Canterbury Francisco del Rincon, master of Gregorio Fernandez 1710's

  • Top: St. Alban, patron saint of the college and the first English martyr in the 4th centuary

  • Doors of the Virgins Alcove: Pictures of angels on wood Diego Diez de Ferreras 1677
