The Vestment Press has a painting of Ignatius's vision at La Storta. Saint Ignatius was on his way to Rome and had a vision contemplating Christ with the Cross on his shoulders. He heard the words "I will be with you in Rome". He took this as a message of God and founded the Society of Jesus in the city of the Popes. |
