BLESSED Richard REYNOLDS
BLESSED Richard (Thomas)
REYNOLDS (alias GREEN) was born in Warwickshire. He was educated at Douai, and
after being sent to the English Seminar in SEVILLE, he was ordained a priest in
Cádiz in 1592.
After to return to England, he worked for the Catholic Mission for more than
fifty years. Condemned for being a priest, he was stripped, hung, drawn and
quartered at Tyburn (London) on the 21st of January 1642.
He was beatified on the 15th of December 1929.
