BLESSED Thomas BULLAKER OSF

BLESSED Thomas BULLAKER OSF was born in Midhurst, near Chichester, in the County of Sussex. Being a seminarian of the Royal English College at VALLADOLID, he left to enter the Order of the Franciscans, the year 1622; he was ordained a priest in the convent of the Abrojo at Valladolid in about the year 1627. For twelve years he worked for the catholic mission in England; he was arrested twice. Condemned for being a priest, he was stripped, hung, drawn and quartered at Tyburn (London) on the 12th of October 1642.

He was beatified on the 22nd of November 1987.
