BLESSED Thomas HOLLAND SJ
BLESSED Thomas HOLLAND SJ was
born in Sutton in the County of Lancashire. He was educated in the College of
St. Omer, and later was admitted as a pupil to the Royal English College at
VALLADOLID. In 1624 he made his religious profession into the Society of Jesus.
Condemned for being a priest, he was drawn, hung and quartered in Tyburn
(London) on the 12th of December 1642.
He was beatified by Pope Pius IX on the 15th of December 1929.
